rectangular box A has a greater volume than rectangular box B but the length of box A is less than the length of box B. How is this possible?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the length of box a can be longer as long as the other dimensions compensate to make the volume less (i.e. breath and width)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Volume = LxWxH so all three dimensions need to be considered not just any one (or even their sum) consider a cube with side length 2 and volume 8 and a rectangular box 1x1x4 volume of 4.
