Give an example of a fluid in the real world that would need to be viscous. Explain Why?

Blood. If it were not viscous, it would accumulate away from our brain and we would die.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

motor oil, it has to be viscous to hang to the metallic surfaces and offer its slippery properties. Silicon oil, used to damp the revolution of gears (as a clutch would).
