This is a component of a Limit problem I have found to be DNE.

ah, right, x --> -1, hence my passion to remove x+1 from the denominator.

This is a solve for limit that I have reached exhaustion upon. I think it is DNE. Lim (x--> -1) of (3x^3 + 1) / (x+1 I can find no result other than indeterminate, using a table shows the val's skate off to infinity in opposite directions as x approaches -1, which both my sketch and your wolf confirms on the chart. Am I missing something?
