if you square the impulse expressed in newton-seconds, in what units will the answer be expressed?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Nothing that makes sense. (Kg^2)(m^2)/(s^2) is the same as kg.J or kilogram Joule, but no is no an unit in International System.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

impulse is taken as the change in momentumi.e delta P delta P = m ( delta V) [v is the velocity] = m * acceleration so the units are kg m / s^2 is u square it u will get kg^2 m^2/ s^4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Impulse if force times time (simply put). So it is, as you say, newtons x seconds So that is kg.m/s Squared that is kg^2.m^2.s^-2
