OpenStudy (amistre64):

graph? solve? determine slope? are they parallel or perp? is there some question that goes with this?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

peanut butter marshmellows lol

Find X and Y (systems of linear equations using substitution)

OpenStudy (amistre64):

oh, well thats doable :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol ok =]

First we see that the two xs are equal \[ x = x \] \[ 3-2y = 5y-10\] \[ -7y = -13\] \[y = \frac{13}{7}\] then we can put in to find x. \[x = 3-2\frac{13}{7}\] \[x=3-\frac{26}{7}\] \[x=\frac{21-26}{7}\] \[x=-\frac{5}{7}\]

OpenStudy (amistre64):

hmmm yeah, i -10 and not +10 ...

OpenStudy (amistre64):

im gonna start breaking of fingers if they dont do what i tell them to :)

OpenStudy (amistre64):

x=3-2y=x=5y-10 -x -x ----------------- 3-2y= 5y-10 3-2y =5y-10 +10 +2y --- ---- 13 =7y /7 /7 ---------- 13/7 = y

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know the feeling:)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y=13/7
