Need help! What is the equation of a line with a slope of zero, passing through the point (5.-1)? A) y=0 B) y=-1 C) y=5 D) x=5

OpenStudy (fools101):

I Think is D?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the answer is D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

RECALL: Equation of a straight line: y = mx + c y, x ; any variables m ; gradient of line c ; y-intercept of line, when value of x=0 slope of zero => implies m=0 [now you have y= c] Passes thru (5 , -1) sub in y=-1 into y = c, c is -1 Therefore, equation of line is y = -1 :)

OpenStudy (fools101):

so it B?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes :)

OpenStudy (fools101):

AWWW kk thanks ur right it was B thank u sooo much!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No prob xD. they said line so recall defining equation of a line is y = mx + c then make use of the info provided :)
