How do you square a binomial with different variables? For example (m+4n)^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The same way you would square a binomial with one variable, write it out twice and foil.

OpenStudy (andrew314):

You do this exactly the same as the last one.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But just write both variables at the end?

OpenStudy (andrew314):

Not sure what you're asking... but to avoid telling you the answer entirely, your first and last variables will be squared, and the middle variable will have both m and n.
