Solve: 6^3x-6 = 1 I came up with 6^0(3x-6) =1^0 3x-6 = 1 3x = 7 but I am stuck simplifying it now.

you should have 3x-6 = 0 instead of 3x-6 = 1

yes, but the exponent is what matters the right side 1 is really 6^0 so because the bases are equal, the exponents 3x-6 and 0 are equal
