OpenStudy (riley):

Find the derivative of the function. g(x) = ln|9x − 4| Need some help please.

OpenStudy (riley):

I kind of missed this lesson in class, so I'm trying to play catch up with it . . . if someone could sort of guide me through finding the derivative I would be very great-ful.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the derivative of \[\ln(x)=\frac{1}{x}\] then use the chain rule

OpenStudy (riley):

What am I suppose to do with the 1/x though? Does it just get multiplied like with the product chain rule?

OpenStudy (riley):

And what about the absolute value signs . . . do I take the derivative for positive and negative, or no?
