anyone know how to find the derivatives using a graph??

OpenStudy (agreene):

the derivative of a graph will be a graph of it's change slopes. bad drawings, but for example.. f(x)=x^2 and f'(x)=2x so the parabola is the f(x) and the line is f'(x) and f''(x) = 2 which would be a line, and that makes sense because there is no change in slope with f'(x)|dw:1317800671327:dw|

The Slope at the specific point, when a tangent is drawn to it, is the derivative.
