add (5+6x+3x^2+9x^3)(7-6x+3x^2-9x^3) there is too many numbers and im lost to where to start

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

is there a + sign in b/w?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If you are adding them then you can write it as \[5 + 6x + 3x^2 + 9x^3 + 7 - 6x + 3x^2 - 9x^3\] It looks complicated but all you do is group all the numbers with x^3 then group the x^2 then group the x and then group the constants like this \[(9x^3 - 9x^3) + (3x^2 + 3x^2) + (6x - 6x) + (5 + 7)\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

simplify and you get \[0x^3 + 6x^2 + 0x + 12\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Which can be written as \[6x^2 + 12\] or \[6(x^2 + 2)\] both are right.
