If Jason goes to the concert, then Beth will go. If Beth goes to the concert, then Cindy will go. If Cindy goes to the concert, then Shannon will go. Who goes?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Any other info?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oops lol. Only two people go who goes?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Cindy and Shannon. Care for the explanation?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes please

OpenStudy (anonymous):

There are four possible scenarios 1.If Jason goes, then everyone will wind up going (4 people) 2. If Jason doesn't go, but Beth goes, then Cindy will go, and if Cindy goes Shannon goes (3 people) 3. If Jason and Beth don't go, but Cindy goes, then Shannon will also go (2 people) 4. Nobody goes The only scenario that works is if Cindy goes, which forces Shannon to go as well

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hmm..... But Cindy won't go unless Beth goes... right? Or can she act separately

OpenStudy (anonymous):

She can act separately (I would think) the second statement only means that IF Beth goes then that forces Cindy to go

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh... ok thanks!
