8-4(2-x)=<-2x use interval notation

OpenStudy (kira_yamato):

8 - 8 + 4x ≤ -2x 6x ≤ 0 x ≤ 0 Range of x: [-∞ , 0]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(-∞ , 0] this is z answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, Kira Yamato's answer could only imply (-∞ , 0], when dealing with infinity we can't use Closed interval in the unbound side.

OpenStudy (kira_yamato):

But we can't rule out that possibility since < is part of ≤

OpenStudy (anonymous):

≤ would only impose the closed interval on the '0' side, however the infinity side is free from any change.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

infinity can never be closed!!!
