How do I find the additive inverse of a vector?

OpenStudy (turingtest):

Just break the vector into components i,j,k and take the negative of each I believe.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can't I just multiply it by the scalar -1? :-P

OpenStudy (turingtest):

Well, yes if it's in component form. Actually I guess it doesn't matter. It amounts to the same thing.
