Please help guys. I have a take home test and these kinds of questions are cuasing problems for me: If given a degree 3 polynomial with real coefficients whose leading coefficient is -2, with zeros -6, 2, and 4, what is the standard form?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[-2x^3-6X^2+2x+4=0\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Would you mind showing me the step by step way you did this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It doesn't need steps 3 degree polynomial standard come left to right with it's coefficients. So just add coefficients from left to right with x degree decreasings

and magically the coefficients become the zeros no matter what power they are given within the standard form?
