4^(3x-1) = 8^(x+1)

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

2(3x-1)=3(x+1) 6x-2=3x+1 3x=3 x=1

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

because 4=2 on exponent 2 and 8 = 2 on exponent 3

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

this is understandably ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok i understand :) thank you very much

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

push please the good answer button

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

thank you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you help me mo re i cant understand this

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(4/9)^(2x-3) = (8/27) ^(x-1)

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

so write 4/9 = (2/3) on exponent 2 and 8/27 = (2/3) on exponent 3 and hence will get 2(2x-3)=3(x-1) 4x-6=3x-3 x=3
