a line passes through a point (-2,3).find an equation of this line if it is 3x+2y=5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

substitut the -2, and 3 into the equation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i believe the answer is -0 and 5... no real solution

OpenStudy (mathteacher1729):

Wait a minute. \(3x +2y =5\) is an equation of a line already. The point \((-2,3)\) is not on that line because \(3(-2)+2(3) =0\) And zero is not five. :( See attached.
