A window pane has steel grills, as shown. The grills along the same direction are parallel to each other. Image posted. What is the measure of m and n? m = 25° and n= 65° m = 65° and n = 25° m = 115°and n = 65° m = 65°and n = 115°

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

corresponding angles and co-interior angles

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

can you see how the diamond with the the n and m in it could be slid up to the diamond with the 65° in it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I still needed more help.

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

what does the 65° angle correspond to in the other diamond/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Umm.. A 25 degree angle?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Am I right or wrong?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I was not typing a reply. It was some glitch.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Maybe it was 115. They are so close though.

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

25° is complimentary to 65° but when to angles correspond it means something different. corresponding angles are actual equal ,

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh ok. Now that helps out a lot! Thanks! So it would be 25 and 65.

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

115° is supplementary to 65° Look at the picture; one of the angles m or n corresponds to 65°

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It would be 25. Angle M should be 65 so Angle n is 25.

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

options a and b are both incorrect neither angle is 25° you are correct when you say m = 65° because these angles correspond

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

co-interior angles on the other hand are supplementary

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok. So your telling me that angle n won't be 65 or 25 right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I got it! Thanks for your help! :)

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

it certainly looks bigger than 90 to me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I chose the 4th answer. That look right after all what you told me.
