Two states of matter present in the water cycle are described below. State 1: Takes the shape of the part of the container which it occupies. State 2: Spreads across the entire volume of a container and takes its shape. Which of these statements is correct about the two states of matter? State 1 is liquid and State 2 is solid. State 1 is solid and State 2 is gas. State 1 is liquid and State 2 is gas. State 1 is solid and State 2 is plasma. Once again I know this is not science but no one is in the science sections.. so please help.

Thanks you :)

I would say that state 1 is liquid and state 2 is gas...

I agree with agdgdgdg State 1: Takes the shape of the part of the container which it occupies - property of liquids. State 2: Spreads across the entire volume of a container and takes its shape - property of gases. so right answer is.... State 1 is liquid and State 2 is gas.

@ agdgdgdg since u were right first off...... medal for u too !! ☺

But gas can't take shape, it has no definite shape. I just read that online haha

State 1 is liquid and State 2 is gas.
