Finding resultant magnitude and direction. A truck driver attempting to deliver some furniture travels 8km west, and then travels 12 km east to his destination. @Mathematics

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4 km to the east

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can u show me how u got that plz

OpenStudy (anonymous):

8 km west (- direction) and 12 km east (+ direction) so total resultant = 12 km - 8 km = 4 km east

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thx you very much

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im a junior takin physics with out a teacher thank you and im actually mexican not black

OpenStudy (anonymous):

look i needed help not for you to criticize me

OpenStudy (perl):

ok

OpenStudy (perl):

sorry that wasnt helpful

OpenStudy (perl):

hey, if you need a math questino, i will help, i promise

OpenStudy (anonymous):

not at all i got my help u can go now

OpenStudy (perl):

ok who is that in your picture

OpenStudy (anonymous):

me and my lil bro

OpenStudy (perl):

oh. sorry about the comments. that was dumb

OpenStudy (perl):

ummm, dont know why i said that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea just a bit

OpenStudy (perl):

hey, a resultant means you add two vectors

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you

OpenStudy (perl):

it gets a little tricky when the vectors are not on the same line

OpenStudy (perl):

disregard my comment. there are plenty of mexican mathematicians and black . ;)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (perl):

i deleted them , gone

OpenStudy (perl):

good luck with your physics , i will look forward to helping ;)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thank you
