how come this is not factorable?....5x^2+6x+8

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ah it is facotrable ask myininaya about this she can do it

5 is prime. so it only roots are 5 and 1. 8= +/-(2,4)(1,8) the solutions(zeroes) will be decimals. so that is a huge indication that it is not factorable (at least without using decimals and roots)

okay, thank you :)
