how can you find the slope between two points? example- (-2,-1) and (5,13)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

slope = \[\Delta y \over \Delta x\] \[\Delta y = y_2 - y_2\] and \[\Delta x = x_2 - x_1\]

OpenStudy (precal):

Most students do not see delta y over delta x until a precal or calculus course.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\Delta\] means "change in" life lesson. \[\Delta\] y means "change in y" or how you may know it, "Rise"

HAHA!
