OpenStudy (anonymous):

10m=1decametre :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

10m= 1 decimetre

OpenStudy (anonymous):

10m=1decametre

OpenStudy (anonymous):

10 decimetre=1 m

OpenStudy (anonymous):

deci=one tenth deca=10 times whether it be litre or metre or gram or whatever follow this rule

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so 100m is 1000 decametres?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

100m=10 decametres

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but 1 decametre = 10 metres???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

u r making things complicated 1 kilogram=1000gram but whenever u have to convert 2 kg to grams, u have to multiply with 1000, not divide it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I was confusing myself with what is the larger unit, because meters and smaller then deca meters you have to divide to find the amonut of decameters

OpenStudy (radar):

You have strayed from the question. meters and liters are different kind of measures. Meters are a lenght (distance) and liters are volumes like a liquid measure. I would surmise the answer is no.
