How do I simplify: (x^2+5x+6/x^2-3x+2) / (x+3/x-1) - (6/x+3)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x^2 + 5x + 6 x+3 6 ----------- / ------ - ----- x^2 - 3x + 2 x-1 x+3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I tried factoring it and cancelling x-1 and x+3 and i got this: x+2 6 ---- - ---- x-2 x+3

your math teacher must hate you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but you are right so far. go to \[\frac{(x+2)(x+3)-6(x-2)}{(x-2)(x+3)}\] then multiply out in the numerator

ohhh, i see. I get it now, thanks!
