Let f(x)=x^3+2x+1 assume that f^-1exists and has a domain of-infinity and infinity . Simplify each expression. f^-1(1)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

since we just saw that \[f(0)=1\] we know that \[f^{-1}(1)=0\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so if we have F(-1) do we have 1

i am not sure what exactly you are asking. if you know \[f(a)=b\] then you know \[f^{-1}(b)=a\]
