let f(x)=(x+2)/(x-3) find the domain and range of function f.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

unless the domain is otherwise specified you would say all numbers except where the denominator is zero, in other words all numbers except x =3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x= -2, x= 3?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

range is a bit trickier, but this function can never be = 1 because the numerator and denominator can never be the same. so it is all numbers except 1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no you can let x = -2, you just get 0 which is a perfectly good number

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok
