why dont you use the Equation tool here which is more explicit ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[3/4y^(3/2)-1/4y^(3/2)\]

better? Everytime i use it then click post the server goes down.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well it looks like i got : 1/2y^(3/2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[3\div4y^(3\div2) - 1\div4y^(3\div2)\] Everytime you power or elevated some number or variable at xnumber / ynumber , is like the square root of the denominator (ynumber) and elevated to the numerator(xnumber) x^1/2 is pow(sqrt(x, 2) , 1) Thats an example.pow is power and sqrt is square.

Okay! :) can you go to the other one you were helping me with and see if the steps make sense?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sure...
