I need help ....how do you know when to put a coefficient in front of an element in a skeleton equation? I need help ....how do you know when to put a coefficient in front of an element in a skeleton equation? @Chemistry

OpenStudy (trancenova):

Well a skeleton equation is unbalanced and only shows the chemicals that were involved in the chemical reaction so there shouldn't put in coefficients. Or do you mean how to balance a skeleton equation? Basically you just want to have the same amount of products as reactants - ask if you want help on this :)
