Need help, please explain example 1 for me! http://tutorial.math.lamar.edu/Classes/CalcIII/GreensTheorem.aspx why is 0<=y<=2x?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[0\le y \le 2x\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

anyone? just want to know why the boundaries for y is [0,2x]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think that's just the arbitrary shape they decided on for that particular example. there's nothing special about the value.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes, but my question is how did they get that boundary from the shape?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that's just how they defined the shape

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i understand from the verticies they start with, and the graph they drew. I also understood how they got the boundaries for x, but i don't understand the y boundaries
