The solutions to a quadratic equation are x = 2 or x = -3. What are the x-intercepts of the related quadratic function?

OpenStudy (slaaibak):

well, the x-intercepts would be (2,0) and (-3,0)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so you just do the opposite of the #s you get?

OpenStudy (slaaibak):

What do you mean? If the solutions are x=2 and x=-3, it means the graph intercepts the x-axis at (2,0) and (-3,0)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh okay thanks
