why are lysosomes frequently found in phagocytic organism than non phagocytic organisms

OpenStudy (blues):

Lysosomes function in digestion and degredation. They have a pH substantially lower than that of the cytosol to denature proteins and are packed full of pH resistant enzymes which hydrolyze peptide bonds in proteins. Phagocytic organisms 'swallow' or 'engulf' many complex molecules whole and have to break them down; therefore, they have a lot of lysosomes to do so.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lysosomes are found in the phagocytic cells and have a role to play during the process of phagocytosis. The lysosome is the one that fuses with the phagosome (the vessicle comprising the materials being engulfed) and is able to produce oxygen radicles such as hydrogen peroxide and nitrogen dioxide etc....which are able to destroy the foreign materials
