Plug in the points into the function 5 = 3 + 2

Moneybird is right. If you put the first coordinate in for x, and the second coordinate in for y, then the equation should balance. It only does that for D. For example, if you plug A into the equation, you would get 0 = 1 + 2, which is false. As such, that point cannot be on the line.
