can someone please help me.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

When multiplying fractions, you can cross cancel, then just multiply across. So, your answer comes out to 6ab^2-5a^2 over 12b^2+2a^2b

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how did you get 6ab^2-5a^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm so confused.

hi, can you please answer my question.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

After you find common denom, you get (6b^2-5a)/ab^2 over (12b+2a^2)/a^2b. You multiply by the reciprocal of the second fraction, so you get (6b^2-5a)(a^2b)/(12b+2a^2)(ab^2). The (a^2b)/(ab^2) simplifies to a/b. So, you get the following: a(6b^2-5a)/b(12b+2a^2). When you distribute through, you get (6ab^2-5a^2)/(12b^2+2a^2b).
