OpenStudy (anonymous):

Which angle is y ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y is in the equation for tryin to find angle 1 which is the weird looking thing inside my diagram..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is the quadrilateral given any specific name.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no...what i typed/drew is all that is shown

OpenStudy (aroub):

|dw:1323449108681:dw| is this < 1?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah...srry it looks all confusing..

OpenStudy (aroub):

I think it's a rhombus...

OpenStudy (akshay_budhkar):

that angle 1 looks like a 90 degree angle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How can it be taken as a Rhombus?

OpenStudy (aroub):

Yeah! and if it's a rhombus the diagonals are perpendicular.. so ( I think) the answer is : 3y-6=90 3y=96 y=32

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you!!!!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

32 is right THANK YOU!!!

OpenStudy (akshay_budhkar):

yeah thats what i think as well .. though the diagram looks confusing, why dont you try to take a snap shot and attach a file here?

OpenStudy (aroub):

& Hi Akshay! @ Abdul, because if you have two congruent consecutive sides then quad is a rhombus...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what if it was M angle 1=3y+6
