solve 14x^2+29x-15=0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Since you can't simplify you have to go straight into factoring. To make it kind of easier, find the factors of 14x first. So.. It could be [14x and 1x] or [7x and 2x]. Then find the factors of 15 which would be [-3 and 5], [3 and -5], [1 and -15], or [-1 and 15]. Are you with me so far?

\[ax^2+bx+c=0\] solve for x by using: \[x=\frac{-b \pm \sqrt{b^2-4ac}}{2a}\]
