\[-2 x^4 (x^2+3 x-28) \]

First thing is that this looks complicated, so find the biggest thing you can factor out. Each term has a -2x^4 in common, so pull that out (-2x^4) (x^2 +3x -28) Now you can factor the second expression (-2x^4) ( x+7)(x-4)
