Write an equation for a line intersecting 2x-y=4 at (1,-2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm sorta confused...could you also explain?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

any line that passes through (1,-2) that isn't parallel to 2x-y=4 will satisfy this.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x-y=3 for instance

wat is the gradient of re they perpendicular?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Just use the point-slope form of a line. Make (1, -2) the point, and use any number for the slope (except for the slope of the orginal line).
