how do i put 10^-5 on a calculator

OpenStudy (anonymous):

One way to do it is do 10, x^y, 5. Then do 1/x.

OpenStudy (mathteacher1729):

Depends on the calculator. For most you have to put parenthesis around the stuff in the exponent. 10^(-5)
