OpenStudy (bookylovingmeh):

y=logx if y=10 then what is x?

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

so log signe base 2

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

then x=2 on exponent 10

OpenStudy (turingtest):

the one log on the right is base ten, yes?. so we have 10=log x now raise 10 to the power of both sides to find x... if the log on the right is a different base raise that number to the power if both sides.

OpenStudy (bookylovingmeh):

y=logx 10=logx 10=10^x IS THIS IT ?

OpenStudy (turingtest):

what is the base of your log ? do you know ?

OpenStudy (bookylovingmeh):

WHY THANK U GUYS

OpenStudy (turingtest):

no that is not correct above...

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

logarithm with base 10 is signed lg

OpenStudy (bookylovingmeh):

OHH I GET IT THANK U GUYS SOO MUCH

OpenStudy (anonymous):

we use "log " for base 10 in CA

OpenStudy (turingtest):

it depends @jhonyy not always

OpenStudy (turingtest):

yes I know it for base 10 as well

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

but i have learned that in this way

myininaya (myininaya):

\[10=\log_b(x) => b^{10}=x\]

myininaya (myininaya):

b>0 not equal to 1
