OpenStudy (agentjamesbond007):

How do you find one-sided limits?

OpenStudy (agentjamesbond007):

A one-sided limit is when a limit does not exist at a point, but does when the limit approaches that point from either the left (-) or right (+)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then whats the difficulty to find it? u know how to find limit, i guess :)

OpenStudy (agentjamesbond007):

I kind of do. Is there a way to find it algebraicaly instead of plugging random numbers on one side of the limited x value?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think, no... because in this case, as the limit does not exist, u have to choose the numbers close to the limiting value

OpenStudy (agentjamesbond007):

Oh, I see. Thank You!
