simplify completely x^2-4x+4/x^2+10+25*x+5/x^2+3x-10

...Can you draw it or something? If what you're saying is true then you've got a three-layer fraction and I don't know whether there's two on top or bottom.

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

\[\frac{x^2-4x+4}{x^2+10+25} *\frac{x+5}{x^2+3x-10}\]

Okay. If you factorise the left side, you've got... (x-2)(x-2) / (x+5)(x+5) and if you factorise the right side you've got (x+5) / (x+5)(x-2). They cancel diagonally, so you're left with (x-2) / (x+5) * 1 / (x+5), multiply these together and you get (x-2)/(x+5)^2
