Help me? ^^

OpenStudy (mertsj):

Are you studying the special right triangles/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

My teacher isn't explaining it to me at all. :/ We've barely touched this subject..so I don't know much about it

OpenStudy (mertsj):

Are you studying the special right triangles?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

:o sorta..just doesn't make sense to me

OpenStudy (mertsj):

Do you know what the special right triangles are?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yea.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I suppose reread it and see if I understand it again. (The section about Special Right Triangles)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I should*

OpenStudy (mertsj):

In your drawing, you have 2 special right triangles. Triangle BDC is an isosceles right triangle because it has a 45 degree angle and is a right triangle. So if DC = 9 then BC = 9

OpenStudy (mertsj):

Do you understand that much?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yup. I'll use the information you gave me and my text book to solve the rest ^^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you ^^

OpenStudy (mertsj):

AC = 9sqrt3 so AB = 9sqrt3-9
