How would I simplify this and write it in standard form? (288) / [(x-5)(x-4)]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\frac{288}{(x-5)(x-4)}\] looks god as it is

OpenStudy (anonymous):

*good

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh okay! thank you so that's standard form?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you can write \[\frac{288}{x^2-9x+20}\] if you like

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I am sorry I meant x+4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How would I do it then?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if x meant the same thng?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sorry, yeah ofcourse. Okay if (288) / [(x-5)(x+4)] and x meant the same thing how would i write it in standard form? and simplify it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well would (288) / (x-1) be possible?
