Does a sheet of paper accurately represent a plane? Justify your answer

OpenStudy (jamesj):

No because a 'true' plane is a strictly 2-dimensional object and has no "thickness", a third dimension. A piece of paper has thickness.

ah, @rld, got your message. Post your question, meant to tell you.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

not exactly... because sheet of paper is not leveled and smooth at all places. according to dimension also it is having third dimension i.e thickness. instead if you take the shadow or projection of a paper then it can be said to be a plane..

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

a plane is purely theoretical
