yes it does. :) Think SAH where: A= adjacent & H=hypotenuse The right triangle has both. It is actually, basically, the Pythagorean theorem :)

you can use the law of signs for a right triangle, but you do not need it
having a right triangle means you know one angle right off the bat, namely the right angle. so if you have to sides you can find the third by pythagoras, and then you can find the missing two angles by using inverse trig functions
if you have one side and and one other angle, since you have two angles you can find the third, and again solve for the missing side using trig.
