Just wondering, would I graph the function y=sinx, and then apply the transformations from teh function onto that? Once I'm done that, would I then continue on with how I would usually graph y=cscx?
OpenStudy (akshay_budhkar):
the only place the function is not defined is when cosec x is infinity or sinx is 0
OpenStudy (akshay_budhkar):
so u can get the domain
OpenStudy (akshay_budhkar):
also cosec x ranges from -∞ to ∞ . so this function has a range as all real numbers
OpenStudy (istim):
I'm worried about graphing it though.

oh
OpenStudy (akshay_budhkar):
better graph cosecx first then the transformations
OpenStudy (istim):
I'll figure out the domain and range once I get the graph. But what you said, I guess the Range is yEr.
OpenStudy (istim):
Ok. Graph the original first?
OpenStudy (istim):
Gimme me a minute. I guess you can do what you want while you're waiting.

Not yet. I've got the base function, but I'm struggling with dem transformations.
OpenStudy (istim):
My solution sounds wrong to me though.
OpenStudy (akshay_budhkar):
try wolhphram and compare ur graph!
OpenStudy (istim):
Link it?
OpenStudy (akshay_budhkar):
i cant make it on this site :/
