Can anyone tell me how to solve this problem without using a reduction formula. I have the answer, I just don't know how to get there. Thanks!

The answer is stuff written in the green box btw

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

\[2sin{a} \times cosb=sin(a+b)+sin(a-b)\]

Is that a commonly known trig identity? I am not familiar with that one.

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

well it is 1 of 12 in my book, i never remember any of these but i reckon it will work because sine integrates to cosine which is the form of your answer

cool beans, thanks
