What is the slope of the line that has an equation of y = x - 3? a) -3 b) 0 c) 1 d) 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

c

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Why is it c? or how

OpenStudy (akshay_budhkar):

again same logic.. in equation\[y=mx+b\] m is the slope

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y = mx +b, m denotes the slope. Since y = x - 3 has no coefficient on the x, it's m = 1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i'm rereading o.o just a sec

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I kinda get it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OH!!! lol took a minute I get it now :) ty
