Rewrite each expression with positive exponents and simplify. ( –3x^2)^3 *(9x^3)^–1 . i got 243x^3 but its wrong :(

Well done for trying. Can you show me your working, either in text, or using Draw, or by scanning/taking a photo and using Attach File?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Great

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(-3x^2)^3=-27x^6. (9x^3)^-1=-9x^-3 then i multiplied the two and got 243x^3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok, what should the answer be?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

243x^3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh nvm. what SHOULD it be, lol.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yep :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well im thinking i need to get a negative exponent. so that i'll have to put the x in the denominator of a fraction
