What is the name of the potassium compound in the fertilizer is 'potash'.Fine the systematic name fror this compound. Can anybody help please.
Is the right answer K_2 Co_3 ?

Potash doesn't refer to any particulat compound as such. It represents any potassium compound. In terms of fertilizers it include KCl, KNO3, K2SO4. I doubt that a potash fertilizer can include K2CO3.

As you can see, and like shankvee\ said, there is no one compound that the name represents. You may try looking in any other literature you have available that's related to the course -- the textbook, handouts, etc. -- to see if you can find any more specifics on the question.

Potassium carbonate (K2CO3) is the original stuff, produced by leaching wood ashes. The most common potassium salt used today, and called by the name potash, is KCl.
